Geography Homework Policy

Homework is set each week. The department views it as an essential extension to class work and one way of assessing a child's motivation and individual ability. Years 7 - 9 have the equivalent of one set homework a week. Homework is based upon the ability of the group/individual. Homework is sometimes set to be undertaken over a period of time. The form of homework varies from research, completion of worksheets, revision, through to investigations.

Clear instructions are given by each teacher for homework: date set / work to be done / date for completion.

Time is given in lessons for students to record their homework in their diaries, it is the responsibility of each student to keep their homework diary up to date.
