John Beddoes is a popular and successful 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school in the town of Presteigne, close to the borders of Herefordshire and Shropshire. The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic candidate who will be capable of taking a leading role within the small but experienced Senior Leadership Team. After achieving the best set of results in the schools history we are looking for a colleague who is capable of sustaining our recent improvement by leading the transformation of teaching and learning across the whole school. This is a stimulating and demanding position in a school which will provide them with a good experience for professional and career development.
This is a key post in furthering the development of the school, this post initially has responsibility for Teaching and Learning, Staff Development, ICT Development, 14-19 pupil support, data and results analysis and line management for 4 departments. This is negotiable for the right candidate.
