Dean wins third place at Cycling Championship
On Sunday 21st June 2009 Dean Hadfield took 
part in the Welsh Schools Omnium Grass Track Championships 2009, representing John Beddoes School. The event took place at Bailey Park, Abergavenny as part of their Cycling Festival. A variety of competitors of different ages and abilities took part from different school. Each rider competed in three separate races; a sprint, a pursuit and a distance race.
A huge congratulations goes to Dean won third place in the Under 14 age group Dean was amongst only a few who were not affiliated with cycling clubs and entered just for fun on a standard mountain bike. The school looks forward to hearing how he does in future events!
