Fasching 2009
Year 7's took part in a fancy dress competition on Thursday 12th March to celebrate Fasching. Fasching is a German festival which is renowned for its fancy dress competitions and special parades all over Germany. We celebrate Fasching every alternative year in school with Year 7 and it is always such a success.
There were some amazing outfits this year and well done to all that took part. Prizes were given out for best individual, best pair and best group.
Each child was given a sponsor form so we could raise money for the charity Concern Universal. This is an international charity based in Hereford which supports many developments programmes throughout the third world and the school also benefits greatly from their international speaker programme.
